Who we are

Earlyjam Pty Ltd (“Earlyjam”, “we”, “us”) is an Australian company based in Sydney. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. It covers this website (earlyjam.com) and our dealings with clients and enquirers. Our apps, such as heybub, have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use them.

What we collect

We only collect personal information that we need. This may include:

• Details you give us when you contact us, such as your name, email address, company and the content of your message.
• Information needed to provide services to clients, such as business contact details and project information.
• Basic technical information that our hosting provider records automatically when you visit the site, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and it has no account sign-up or contact forms.

How we use it

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, provide and manage our services, run and secure this website, and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for direct marketing without your consent.

Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us operate, such as our website host (Vercel), font provider (Google Fonts) and email provider, and only as needed for them to provide their services. Some of these providers may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law, and then securely delete or de-identify it.

Access and correction

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@justinchong.io. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days.
